Chantilly remains a beautifully preserved jewel where 19th-century elegance endures. Long home to princely dynasties—both close to and rivals of the royal court—the château hosted magnificent festivities. Molière premiered Les Précieuses ridicules there in 1659, and under the famed maître d’hôtel François Vatel, refinement reached its peak, giving rise to the world-renowned Chantilly cream.
First and foremost, you’ll be getting married in one of France’s most iconic landmarks—its stunning architecture, elegant décor, and breathtaking gardens speak for themselves. Not to mention its period furniture, intact memories of the Duke of Aumale since the 19th century. You’ll have a truly fairy-tale wedding.
If you’re an art lover like me, you’ll be captivated by the meticulously designed galleries. The Duke of Aumale curated France’s second-largest collection of antique paintings, surpassed only by the Louvre.
